At the first GearCon held in Durant, Empire Pro Wrestling put on a show. One of the performers on that show was a Oklahoma Hardcore Legend known as Kareem Sadat. Unfortunately, on April 1, 2024 news of his passing was spread.
Although we did not know Kareem like others in the wrestling word did we do know he was am approachable and friendly person. He was even a bit of a jokester being a founder of the Caveman Comedy Club with fellow wrestlers Father Padge and James Tyson.
Kareem made his wrestling debut in 2000. Since then he has had a championship filled run boasting the longest reigning title run for AACW of 6 months 2 days. In Empire Pro Wrestling he held the All American Championship. He is also a multiple tag team champion with several partners including Rick Russo and Keven Sanchez.
Although we know he is in a better place maybe facing New Jack again, he was the only man to face New Jack in Oklahoma, his passing leaves a massive hole in Oklahoma wrestling. Our thoughts and prayers do go out to his family and close friends.
